Title:
Queue Coordinator #2002
Shift Work:
Core hours are 6am-6pm Monday-Friday.
Currently shift work is not required, but may become mandatory in the
future.
Essential
Functions: The QC monitors the incoming Remedy tickets and coordinates work
center tasking. They assign tickets to SAs, track SA locations and activity, and
track existing tickets in the queue. They leverage existing SA assets against
incoming trouble tickets, by SLA/Criticality. Tickets come in, are assigned, and
are resolved. The tickets could be
incomplete, incorrectly assigned, or even wrong. To the best of their ability
(and with the SLA clock ticking), the QCs attempt to gather enough information
to make a proper assessment of where the ticket needs to be sent if it does not
belong in the current queue. The QCs coordinate with the QCs of other
sections/departments to accomplish the ticket transfers in as smooth a method as
possible. If the QC is unable to
resolve the problem, he/she will escalate the ticket/problem to the Queue
Manager. As the QCs are often experienced SAs, they will, time permitting,
resolve some tickets on their own as well as make recommendations and provide
general guidance to the SAs as needed.
